Learning Commons VisionThe Edna-May Paulson Learning Commons addresses the academic needs and interests of all Galvin Middle School students and staff by offering resources through the physical and virtual Learning Commons. Library and information literacy-based instruction supports mindful independent research and the production of information. The Learning Commons is a learning environment where each and every student can feel safe and supported and can find his/her own voice and interests.

Borrowing Procedures
- Physical items may be borrowed for three weeks. A book may only be renewed if no one has reserved it.
- Students may borrow a maximum of 3 books at any time.
- If students need to take out more than 3 titles for a small period (1-5 days) for a project, please see Mrs. Williams or Mrs. Connell for permission.
- Books that are on reserve because they are for in-library research use only may not be borrowed but may be used freely before, during and after school.
